Android 8.0 Oreo is Now Available on Google Phones and Scheduled for Coolpad, Asus, Lenovo And OnePlus Smartphones

Google ne kuch hi din pehle apne major eighth operating system ki news announce ki aur Android Nougat ke baad Android O ka naam rakha gya Android 8.0 Oreo. Is OS ki announcement ke saath hi ye charchaayein bhi shuru ho chuki hain ki Android 8.0 Oreo kab aur kis smartphone par OTA ke zariye dastak dega.
Aaj hum aapko btaane waale hain ki kaun se smartphones Android 7.0 Nougat OS se Android 8.0 Oreo par upgrade hone waale hain.
Google ke smartphones Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6P par Android 8.0 Oreo abhi se hi uplabdh hai aur OTA dwara upgrade kiya jaa sakta hai. Google ke alawa OnePlus, Samsung, Sony, Asus ke bhi kayi smartphones ke liye Android O schedule kar diya gya hai.
Kuch hi din pehle launch huye Lenovo Killer 8 Note ke liye bhi Android Oreo update schedule kiya gaya hai, halaanki company ne iske liye koi specific date ki announcement nahi ki hai.
Asus Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Pro aur last year launch huye Zenfone 3 series ke liye bhi Android Oreo update available hoga. In smartphones par ye update isi saal mein OTA ke through upgrade kiya jaayega,  lekin kuch smartphone users ko ek saal tak ka wait bhi karna pad sakta hai.
OnePlus ke mid-range smartphones OnePlus 5, OnePlus 3 aur 3T par bhi Android 8.0 Oreo update aayega lekin kab tak, iski announcement abhi nahi ki gayi hai. OnePlus 3 aur 3T ke liye ye last OS update hoga, iske baad Android P update in smartphones par nahi kiya jaayega.
Saath hi haal hi mein launch huye Micromax Canvas Infinity par bhi ye jaldi hi upgrade hoga aur iski update ki list mein HTC ke bhi kayi smartphones shaamil hain jaise ki HTC U11, HTC 10 aur U Ultra.
Fortunately, agar aapke paas inmein se koi bhi smartphone hai to aap bhi jaldi hi OTA ke through apne smartphone ko Android Nougat OS se Android 8.0 Oreo par upgrade kar sakte hain.
Iske alawa Coolpad Cool Play 6 jo 20th August ko Dubai mein launch hua hai, us par bhi ye update jaldi hi aayega.
Saath hi ye bhi kaha jaa raha hai ki aane waale IFA mein bahut se smartphones Android Oreo ke saath hi showcase kiye jaayenge.

IDC: Global smartphone shipments to decline by 12% in 2020

The latest predictions from analysts IDC concerns the global smartphone shipments and they sound properly grim. Total shipments for 2020 are expected to reach 1.2 billion units which would be an 11.9% decline compared to 2019. The new estimate is based on the Q1 shipment results which saw the largest decline in smartphone sales in the history of IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker at -14.5%. Looking at the first half of 2020, IDC predicts an 18.2% decline in shipments due to lowered consumer spending. According to IDC’s Sangeetika Srivastava, the main issue now is a lack of demand on behalf of consumers. On a more regional basis, the new report suggests that China will see a single-digit decline in shipments for the current year as COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted and demand is slowly recovering.
