Samsung Started Taking Pre-Registrations for the Galaxy Note 8 in India

It’s just two weeks since Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in the international market. August 23 is the date when Samsung announced its latest phablet phone. Now, the South Korean company has started taking pre-registrations for the smartphone in India, hinting that the device will be launched in India very soon.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumoured to cost Rs. 74,900 in the Indian market, and will be initially launched in two colour options Midnight Black and Maple Gold. The Note 8 is an important smartphone for Samsung because it succeeds the last year’s recalled Galaxy Note 7.
However, the Note 8 is an entirely different smartphone when compared to Note 7 or Note FE. It is more in-line with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. It has got a 6.3-inch QHD+ Infinity Display, which is also rated as the best screen in any smartphone by DisplayMate.
The Note 8 shares a lot of similar features with the S8 duo such as the Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 chipset, colour options, water resistance, and wireless charging. Additionally, the Note 8 features an advanced S-Pen and dual camera setup at the back. Samsung has joined the dual camera bandwagon with the Note 8. The Note 8 features a massive 6GB of RAM and comes in 64GB/128GB/256GB storage models.
The smartphone comes with two 12MP sensors at the back and both of them are optically stabilised, a first in any smartphone. There are a standard 12MP RGB sensor and another 12MP telephoto lens which can capture 2X zoomed images. Frontal, the Note 8 has the same 8MP selfie camera as seen on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The entire package is backed by a 3300mAh battery.

The phone is released in several colours such as Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, Deep Sea Blue, Star Pink (Taiwan only), but rumours say that only the Midnight Black and Maple Gold will be available after the launch. Other colour options will slowly make into the market sooner or later.
Interestingly, Samsung has reduced the price of the 6GB RAM variant of Galaxy S8+ to Rs. 65,900, making it customers to choose between the S8+ and Note 8. Some international reviews of the Note 8 say that it’s better to go for an S8+ if you’re not a fan of the dual camera setup and S-Pen.
Will you purchase a Galaxy Note 8 if it launches at Rs. 74,900? Let us know in the comments below. And you can pre-register for the Galaxy Note 8 by heading over to the Samsung India’s official site.

The Google Play Support page mentions the same HTC 2Q9J1000 model number we saw earlier. Seeing how this is a Pro there is likely to be a vanilla version in the pipeline as well, but we haven't heard anything about it. HTC Desire 20 Pro certifications When the phones eventually arrive, they will be a follow-up of the Desire 19 lineup that brought us the Desire 19s and Desire 19+ . Both of them had unimpressive Helio chipsets (respectively P22 and P35) and the main camera was 13 MP f/1.9 with PDAF on both of them. Hopefully, this year’s Desire lineup will get in line with the current trends and introduce big batteries, fast charging, and better cameras if HTC w...
